At First Tee — Central Mississippi, golf is more than a game. It is a powerful way to help young people build confidence, develop character, learn perseverance, and gain life skills that will serve them far beyond the golf course. Our First Tee Scramble brings golfers, businesses, friends, and supporters together for a fun day on the course with an even greater purpose: helping more young people experience First Tee programs throughout Central Mississippi. Through our Golf & Life Skills Classes, camps, clinics, and community outreach partnerships, First Tee creates opportunities for kids to learn from caring coaches and mentors while developing skills such as goal setting, problem solving, responsibility, resilience, and teamwork. We believe every child should have the opportunity to participate, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. Support from the First Tee Scramble helps us provide financial assistance, equipment, trained coaches, program supplies, and affordable access to First Tee programming for young people across our community.
